I've dedicated most of my adult life to children, working as a learning disabled teacher, guidance counselor, tutor and mother. In 2003 I wrote, What’s Beyond Loving… Writer’s Club Press, a book about communicating effectively with children. I continue writing and share some of my work here in Cee through the Pen. My artistic career began with a digital camera and a desire to commune with nature. My children were off to college and I had time to explore my artistic calling. For the next 25 years I explored hundreds of artistic mediums and learned from many talented artists. Today I focus mainly on paintings for children, The Little Art Lovers Program and my writing.
Children need to be encouraged to look at art, engage with it, copy it and create it. That is why I created The Little Art Lovers Program to facilitate their interaction with art created for children by experienced artists.
Our mission is the first of its kind in which we are introducing age appropriate art created for the enjoyment of children through public libraries. Our intention is to bridge the gap between a child's first attempts creating art and becoming an art enthusiast later in life. We believe this early introduction and interaction with art is as important to the developing child as an introduction to kinder music or story time.
Little Art Lovers introduces children to art on their level providing an opportunity for them to interact visually and physically with the art.
Little Art Lovers is designed for children between the ages of 4 and 6 with Kindergarten being the optimum age for implementation of the program. The goal of the Little Art Lovers program is to help youngsters develop an enthusiasm for art created especially for their enjoyment and to set a precedent for adult life.

I started with a digital camera, lots of time on my hands, and the need to surround myself with the serene comforting peace of nature. In that time I began to see details and colors that I had never noticed before. As my senses awoke to my surroundings so did my subjects awaken for me. It was as if every flower was calling out to me, "see me, photograph me, enjoy
me. Today is the best day of my life and I'm so glad you’re here! " I felt grateful too. Grateful to be in that place, in that moment, and I'm especially grateful to be able to share my photos with you now.
I love to write. I’ve always loved to write. Being quiet and still while waiting for inspiration brings me closer to my spiritual center and helps me to open my heart and mind to the grace of God. The result is something I’m proud to share with you.
